At Assisted Adventures, we aim to provide high quality and tailored support to people living with disabilities through an empathetic, empowering approach that helps our clients achieve their goals, foster independence and achieve self advocacy that can be carried with them forever.
The Assisted Adventures Story
Founded by director Tess Fostin, Tess has always been passionate about holding space for
individuals that are unique - in this case, those living with physical and mental disabilities.
With a background in event management in Australia and the United Kingdom, Tess found
through her travels that her purpose was in helping people living with disabilities to live a full,
empowered life, just as she has. Beginning with a small disability support company, Tess
eventually branched out on her own launching Assisted Adventures - now managing more
than 10 staff across the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay and Agnes Water regions respectively.
Offering a proactive approach to support, Tess and her team pride themselves on offering
regular 1:1 check-ins with clients, making adjustments to their care as often as necessary. In
doing so, the team sees people achieve their goals faster, with more independence and with
confidence, knowing they have a team to lean on at any time.
